Registration Routes & Requirements — FAQs
What is full-time registration?
It is the registration route applicable to qualifying full-time graduates. The relevant window, institutional records and individual eligibility must be checked before proceeding.
Do you assist NOUN, part-time, distance-learning and sandwich graduates?
Yes. Tell us your institution, programme and mode of study so we can help identify the applicable process. These programmes should not all be assumed to have identical NYSC outcomes.
What is revalidation?
Revalidation generally concerns someone previously mobilised who did not report to camp and needs consideration for a subsequent mobilisation. The correct route must be confirmed against the applicant’s record and current NYSC instructions.
What is remobilisation?
Remobilisation concerns a return to service after an interruption or abscondment, subject to NYSC’s procedures. It is different from revalidation. We can assist with the applicable application.
What is the difference between exemption and exclusion?
They are different official outcomes. Exemption concerns graduates who qualify for exemption under NYSC’s rules. Exclusion generally concerns categories outside the full-time service route, including relevant part-time programmes. NYSC determines which applies; applicants cannot simply choose between them.
What should Nigerian-trained graduates prepare?
Contact us for the checklist applicable to your route. Common preparation includes accurate personal and academic information, access to your own email and phone, and relevant identity, admission and graduation records. Your institution’s records and portal instructions also matter.
What additional preparation may foreign-trained graduates need?
Foreign-trained applicants may need academic credentials, travel and immigration records, applicable evaluation documents and physical verification. Requirements depend on the qualification and circumstances. Contact us before travelling for a tailored checklist.
Do I need to attend in person?
Applicable NYSC biometric capture requires personal attendance. Other tasks may allow remote assistance. Required physical verification must be completed through the relevant authority.
Is NERD registration required before starting NYSC?
The processes can be started in either order. For applicants subject to the requirement, the required NERD approval must still be completed for final NYSC approval.
Can you help with payments and an application I have already started?
Yes. We assist with applicable online payments and individual outstanding stages, where the platform and official procedures permit.
Can you correct errors or guarantee clearance?
We assist with permitted correction requests and follow-up. Approval, clearance, deployment and relocation decisions remain with the relevant authorities. We do not guarantee an outcome.
